To whom it may concern,

I hired Larry Green to DJ my daughter Jillian’s wedding at Pawleys Plantation back in May of 2009. I was very happy with the way he handled, what I think is the most important part of a wedding reception, the entertainment. He has since contacted me and asked that I write a few words on his behalf. I would be more than happy to do just that.

Comprehensive Personalization: I have to admit I was not personally involved with the planning phase. This was done with my daughter and son in law. From what my daughter tells me, Larry was very accommodating to her wishes. He spent a lot of time meeting with them and took great interest in making sure her wishes were carried out.

Creative Involvement: Part of my daughter’s wishes was not to be in people’s faces with a microphone. We have seen many DJ’s who force themselves on the guests and that can make them uncomfortable. Larry gave the people who wanted the opportunity to have fun, HAVE FUN! Many took advantage of the sing alongs Larry made available via cordless microphones.

Event Direction: Right from the very beginning Larry was there helping people take their places in line for the Grand Entrance. He helped us all better understand what was expected of us in a very nice way. He was on the button with all of the events; the toasts, the special dances, the cake cutting etc. Everything flowed well.

Talented Spokesperson: Larry seemed like he was born with a Microphone in his hand. Not only did he DJ, he was our Master of Ceremonies. He even took care of the music during the Wedding ceremony itself. He was very confident and professional.

Music Programming: My daughter was very specific about the kind of music she wanted played and at what point in the reception. Larry kept a great pace throughout the evening. Great music at a perfect volume while we were eating. We were able to carry on conversations without shouting. When the dancing started, everyone was on the floor all night. Great flow from song to song.

Appropriate Presentation: Larry was the ultimate professional. He was dressed to the tee. He was very courteous and well mannered.

Quality Amplification: Amazing sound system! Actually he had two systems, one system for the ceremony and one for the reception. I am a professional musician. I have a lot of knowledge of sound systems and I will tell you this, the Bose system he used had a fantastic sound. It filled the room in a way where it didn’t matter where you were in the room, it sounded great.

I would highly recommend Larry Green as a DJ. We were very happy with the outcome of my daughter Jillian’s wedding. We got a lot of complements on the reception, especially the entertainment!
