I am the founder and president of Music on the Strand, Inc. With six staff DJs and six associate DJs, Music on the Strand has been serving the Myrtle Beach area and the Southeastern US with quality DJ entertainment since 1980. The company is a charter member of the Grand Strand Bridal Association, member of Coastal Wedding Professionals, the American Disc Jockey Association, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and an associate member of DJ Net. In addition to serving as your ceremony and/or reception DJ / Music Host, I approach each Myrtle Beach area wedding as a one-of-a-kind opportunity to also serve as a conduit through which your guests experience themselves as part of the celebration. I'm honored to have been involved with Disc Jockey America, completing Mark Ferrell's national Master of Ceremonies Workshop, and getting to know the past president of the American Disc Jockey Association and founder of the Wedding Entertainment Director's Guild, Peter Merry, delving into an in-depth study of his book, The Best Wedding Reception . . . Ever! Though I reside in North Myrtle Beach, and most of my DJ engagements are in the Myrtle Beach area, I am available for events on a national basis and frequently travel throughout the country.
